Every Marriage encounters problems that may seem overwhelming. There is no shame in seeking counseling. It is however shameful to give up and quit. Jesus spoke of the marriage as sacred and binding, (Matthew 5:31-32). The Lord said, "Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate," (Mark 10:9).
