In 1995 the ministry began to serve addicts through sharing the Word of God. Rev. Frank Becerra and Rev. Joe Hernandez, Pastor of Restoration Outreach Church, opened the door for Reverend Bucklew to preach and minister God's Word. This opened another door for the ministry and several years later, Reverend Bucklew was called to Star of Hope where he now serves while continuing his Pastorate at Outreach Church. To the left is a picture of a man known as "Bear" and Reverend Bucklew. "Bear" was a client in the Spiritual Recovery Program. Notice the love of Christ in his face. "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed," (John 8:36).
